A Great Gray was being seen regularly in Belgrade in mid- to late March, 2005. It was seen by many lucky birders, usually between 4:00 and 6:30pm. On Saturday afternoon, the day before Easter,there were as many as 35 cars of birders parked in the various locations where the owl was being seen. It was never spotted that day, but it made an appearance on Easter sunday, when this photo was taken by Harold Dorr.
