Results of March 10th Field Trip to Reid State Park

Bonnie Soper, Jim Walker, Dan Marquis (leader & recorder)
Although the weather was warm, the wind was very brisk on the coast. Constant 30-40mph winds made for a less than ideal morning. We might have come up with more birds, but it was too windy for a scope, and too uncomfortable to stand in any one place too long. Also, the tide was quite low, which might have been a factor as well.
The high point of the trip was watching a loon feeding at very close range just off the dock at Five islands.
