RESULTS of the last Bates Bird Walk (BBW V), Tuesday, May 22, 2007,
6-8:25 am; 37-54 deg. F, sunny, calm.
*This* was the morning we had been waiting for all spring!
Sunny, calm, cool (and the weather was great, too), 8 observers
tallied 45 species, including 14 warbler species, and highlighted by
the seldom-seen Bay-breasted Warbler and a cooperative pair of Scarlet
Tanagers.
