Results of the Wednesday morning walk at Alexander-Harkins Preserve

The day stared with rain but by the time we met at Staples it had
stopped. When we got to Auburn and the Alexander-Harkins Preserve the
sun was actually poking through holes in the clouds. And it kept getting
better and never rained until we got home!

We had 7 people attend and had 25 birds. The hi-light was probably the
Scarlet Tanager, sang constantly, was high in the trees, and looked a
bit more orange than scarlet, a variation shown in some books as a year
old male.
