The Plum Island trip was redirected to Weskeag march near Thomaston, due
to weather concerns. The weather started very fogy and remained so until
the trip ended, then the sun tried to break out. It also appears the
weather at Plum Island may have been similar as it was not raining in
Boston at 2pm. I firmly believe weathermen exaggerate all storms, be
they rain or snow, yet we never learn to compensate for their "erroneous
predictions.

Eleven people came, a great group. And 31 bird species were sighted,
which should have been higher had the light been better. We also stopped
at the public landing in South Thomaston.
