This morning looked rainy but it wasn't in Thorncrag. Four of us met and
had a nice walk to the top only getting wet from drops off the trees.
If it rained, we didn't notice even in the openings, but soon after we
ended it did rain some. Wind wasn't bad either, the hill block it!

As for birds we had 11, a slow day; list below.

On the way home, we had 3m and 3f Hooded Mergansers on Sabattus Pond in
the enclosed area at the south end. On getting home we had our first of
the season Ring-necked Duck, also two Bald Eagles which have been here
all summer but now seem to often hang out in front of our house.
