RESULTS of the Stanton Bird Club Field trip to Reid State Park on Saturday, January 16, 2010.

Eleven people took advantage of the January thaw on Saturday, and participated in the Reid State Park trip. Highlights were the black guillemots at Five Islands landing, Red neck grebes at Reid State and a very accommodating Common Eider drake at the old Georgetown post office. Also seen were a gray harbor seal sunning itself on the rocks, and a star fish which was found along the beach. Full listing of birds seen below:
