We had a very good turn out, 12 people, and a very nice walk at
Thorncrag this morning. Sun was bright but it was cool in the woods.
>From the top, Mt. Washington was clearly visible and covered with snow.
We did not have much snow in the woods. Joan tried to call in a Barred
Owl but no success.

Blue Jay

Black-capped Chickadee

Red-breasted Nuthatch, heard
Golden-crowned Kinglet, we think, heard only
American Robin, one at Staples
Cedar Waxwing, a flock of about 25 at Staples (actually at Dan Marquis')
European Starling, again at Staples
Dark-eyed Junco
